What I know for sure this week
- I must not, ever, attempt to make changes, add things or make my blog better in any way shape or form. It never works and leaves me feeling incredible frustrated and stupid. I wanted the Disqus comments but it’s not working properly so no one is commenting. The like buttons are there but I have to post a post and then add them back or I get an error and they are making my pc freeze :-/
- Is that sometimes you have just rather get a new oven. If you don’t the old one will just keep breaking and exploding and causing much frustration.
- The MMR does not mean your kid won’t get German Measles – it also doesn’t mean if they do get it it will be mild. Two of the kids from Cameron’s soccer have just had it – its contagious weeks before the symptoms appear so now we wait and see if we will get it.
- Our washing baskets are never ever empty – even with Josephine here every day and doing loads of washing – the baskets are never empty.
- Hayfever/sinus SUCKS.
- Security sales men are basically using your fear to make the sale and end up making you more afraid than you were to start with.
- Jack will vomit all over his clean clothes in the car on the way out.
- The one time you are really craving a cup of tea will be the day there are no tea bags.
- You will see the white board marker every day until the day you need it – then it’s gone to black marker holiday camp somewhere.
On a positive note though I also know for sure
- That I have an amazing fiance.
- My kids are happy.
- Jack is doing well.
- We are having awesome weather.
- It is nearly time for our December holiday 🙂

Thank goodness that Disqus is gone. It was very frustrating! I totally get you on that teabags thing.
Usually when I am in my salticrax week I can’t stop craving for sushi and fillet!
And can I just say how jealous I am of your weather? CT spring should hopefully kick in by end October.

Two of my kids had german measles – one I didnt even know it was so mild! Be warned that they feel pretty grim BEFORE THE RASH appears…Hooli had it at a year or so and was miserable, clearly unwell with low grade fever for about 5 days. By the time the rash came he was perfectly fine but looked HORRENDOUS!!
i hear you on the blog thing…am currently outsourcing an entire re-do of fivetribe. i cant be asked to spend time doing it myself, cos I will stuff it up and then do my head in in frustration!!!

What I know:
1. I love spring
2. Having company while I write motivates me.
3. The more I work, the more I want to work. Accomplishing things motivates me.
4. Dealing with municipal bureaucracy is not for the faint-hearted.
Yes you know – Disqus – mostly I love it, sometimes I hate it.Not sure if it influences my comments though.
As to the German measels – The Princess got it, then C and L skipped it – apparently they do develop different levels of resistance to the MMR. The crappy part was not the German Measels but the bronchitus they both got a s complication.
At least you got the Things I know badge to work, for some reason it just won’t work on mine. I agree, hayfever, spewy kids and the never finishing laundry basket suck. Big time.

The tea bag thing would do me in – seriously 🙂 I absolutely FLIP OUT. Because I have rules, of course and things must go on the list when we’re nearing the end.

I think you should try another plugin, this one probably doesn’t like your blog layout code. Just do a search in the plugin thingy for social or Facebook or Google + and use another one rather.
Nicola used to pull that vomming in the car on the way out business with me sometimes. Tuck one of those terry coth spit nappies into his clothes like a bib. As soon as he’s done the deed just put it in a plastic bag and go, go, go! 😉
On the upside if he doesn’t vom you can always tuck it into the window if you need to – it makes a pretty decent sunshade too.
We never went anywhere without at least two of those lappies.
