A few weeks ago when David and I had date night, he ordered a piece of pecan nut pie and I had some of the filling – it really is one of the most indulgent pies ever!
I found my aunts recipe – she always made the best pecan nut pies!
Ingredients
125g Margarine
1 cup brown sugar
6 eggs
4T syrup
1 cup milk
2 cups chopped pecans
Salt
Pastry shells – ready made or a basic short crust pastry will work.
Method
1. Combine all ingredients except nuts. Bring to the boil, add the nuts and pour into pastry shells.
2. Bake at 180 for 20 minutes.

I LOVE pecan nut pie. One day when I get over my baking phobia I will attempt this. IT looks easy enough.
