I have to start out this post by saying I LOVE this product!
Pamela is a blogging friend and I watched her start this little business and I have coveted one of these hangers for David since she started.
We have hundreds of medals all over the house. Generally Cameron gets ribbons for swimming but some galas do hand out medals, all his triathalons handed out medals, soccer does medals and Kiaras dancing also goes between ribbons and medals. So they both do have a few medals but David has hundreds. He has run, cycled and swum many many races over the years. They are hanging all over my house! It drives me mad but I feel they should be on display and not hidden in a memory box because each one is an acheivement.
So when our Medal Hanger arrived there was so much excitement, David really thought Christmas came early!
This is such a stunning Christmas gift for kids who compete! You get them in a range of sizes and you can decide what you want to go on it and the prices range from R350 – R775 depending on the size AND delivery in SA is free!
The best news – Pamela has also given me a medal hanger to giveaway!
We are giving away a 65cm Triple bar personalised medal hanger with two rows of writing that is valued at R675.00.
Isn’t she just the best!!!!
So what do you need to do?
Leave a comment and tell me who you want to win this for and what sport they do.
Competition ends 2 December 2016 and is open to SA residents only.

I have coveted one of these for ages! All of my running medals are currently sitting in my cupboard because I have nowhere to hang them on display. Crossing all the bits for this one!
Oh my word I have been waiting for a competition for this for ages! My daughter Morgan is 9 years old and although she’s active she’s always been one of the bigger girls in her class and she’s become quite aware of this and her self confidence took quite a knock a while ago. Last year she started road running with me. It was more of a walk and a shuffle to the finish but she ended up doing about 26 5km’s last year. This year we did it again and she ended up finishing 24 5km’s and her last one she actually ran in 44 minutes. On top of the road running she also does Tumbling and Trampolining and this year she represented the Eastern Cape at the South Zone competition where she came second in her Euro Trampoline event. She has almost 80 medals which are currently hanging on her wardrobe door handles so they make such a noise every time we open or close the doors. I would love to win one of these for her and wrap it up for Christmas as we are so proud of her!
Such a divine giveaway!!! I would really love to win this for my brother, who does triathlons ….he does all the Iron Man events in South Africa and this would really be a lovely for him to hang all of his medals on! Fingers crossed.
Oh gosh, who to give it to?I think the boys Judo medals are accumulating fast – maybe a Judo one for both to share?

This is such an awesome giveaway, it’s something I would use for my son and all his medals that he has collected so far!
I would love to give my brother one of these for his 30th birthday. He’s been doing Karate since the age of 7 and has competed and won many many competitions. His wife will be extremely grateful.
Really would like one of these! Was just named sportswoman of the year by my club, so this will really compliment my medals and trophies! Thx
OMG just cleaned out a draw full of my husband’s medals last night and was wondering what to do with all of them when I came across your comp! What a fantastic idea! Would love one for him! Displaying them in ‘all their glory’ would most definitely inspire my little man to be active and start competing when he gets bigger. Luv it! Xx
I would love this as a family hanger, the kids have odds medals for high jump or cycling, the husband and I have for running, and we have some for runs we have done together as a family. It would take pride of place in our home showing how much our family loves sport, especially those we can do together. Thanks.
O pick me, pick me!!!!
These medal hangers are awesome. We have medals hanging over every photoframe and door handle in the house!!!! This would be the perfect gift for my son. He is 10 years old and has been swimming since he’s 6. He is so proud of all his achievements and he would love this! 😉
These are fab!! My son, Joshua, is a KZN swimmer and open water swimmer and currently his medals are hanging all over his room, in his drawers etc. Would love the opportunity of providing him with a neat space to display all of his medals. Thanks
I would definitely use this for myself. I do Mountain biking and I do between 2 to 3 competitions a month, so you can just imagine the amount of medals in my house and they are accumulating fast… At the moment they are all packed away it an old cookie tin in my cupboard and I would love to put them on display.
I would LOVE a medal hanger like this!!!
Last year on comrades day I was doing hills with my dad! And I said to him that I want to do my first comrades this year. I ran my first marathon with my dad! And he helped me tp qualify! I was in tears when I crossed the line in 4:19:40 (20 seconds to spare for my F seeding). We ran and trained together for a whole 1400km. On the 31st of May 2015 we lined up at the start! Cried together when they played carriots of fire! We ran side by side for 90km and hold hand on all the hills. My dad started cramping on 15km to go. But we stayed together. We crossed the finish line in 11:47. Hand in hand…. Crying! My dad was severely dehydrated. So he was admitted in hospital! I was so stressed out…. My first Comrades and my dad’s 9th…. And he is in hospital! They started him on IV fluids and he was fine…. The week thereafter I got a phone call saying that I won an entry for the Rhodes 50km snow trail run! We started training again…. And we completed the race, side by side…. Again!
I then decided to buy my first apartment…. And will be moving out 1st in February. I won’t be staying with my dad anymore. But I would still have my medals and the memories!
I would love to win this for my son. His name is Vic . He is doing karate.
Awesome product !
I would really love to win this for my wonderful husband, Patrick.
Until we met, he was a golfer but, as l am an avid bowler, he switched to bowls as it is a sport we can do together. As it turns out, he has become quite accomplished and has won a number of medals representing the SA Defence Force. The medals would look really great on the medal hanger and would repay him in some way for his unselfish act giving up his beloved golf for me.
I was actually just about to order a medal hanger for my partner for Christmas, when I came across this giveaway. He trained with me and helped me complete my first marathon two weeks ago. It was such a humbling experience. I would love to give him this as a thank you. He has completed many races before and is doing comrades next year so he is really in need of something to hang his medals on. Especially the comrades one 🙂
What an awesome and unique Christmas gift!! My daughter Megan and her horse Falcon have had a roller coaster ride of highs and extreme lows this year. After kicking the year off on a high note at the 1st SANESA (South African National Equestrian Schools Association) qualifier with a 1st and a 4th place, Falcon became very ill and was referred to Onderstepoort Equine Clinic for a very risky surgery. He survived the surgery and after a 6 week recovery period, came back with a bang!! They performed like never before winning place after place at the remaining qualifiers for the year. They earned a place in the provincial team for both their disciplines (show jumping and western mounted games) and competed at the SA Nationals championships. There, in classes of between 50 and 60 riders from all over the country, they won a 5th and a 10th place. They were also crowned Mpumalanga 60cm show jumping champions! I would love for Megan to be able to hang her medals and rosettes earned throughout the year on this awesome medal hanger 🙂 as a reminder of her and Falcon’s tenacity!
Hi. Gosh this sounds almost like my story. Actually both my kids do mountain biking and I have been looking at these medal hangers for a while now. I would have to order another if I won this so that they both have one but it would be wonderful to have this.
Hello!! My boyfriend is an extremely enthusiastic cyclist, for about 5 years now. I am currently looking for my own bike to start cycling with him… And with lots of cycling comes lots of medals!!! So I would love to give this to him as a gift <3
This would be for the family, Team Matthews, this way we can show what a difference our lifestyle change has made, from professional couch potatoes to runners, Triathlon, gym bunnies!
My 18 year old son Liam Schultz is the Sub Juniour SA champion in Powerlifting in his age/weight category. He leaves for Vancouver Canada tomorrow to compete in the Commonwealth Champs. He aoms to bring home 4 gold medals but more than that he is attempting to set two new world records. As we have to personally bear the cost of competing for SA i cannot give him any other xmas presents this year after shouldering all the costs as Liams only supporting parent. I would love to be able to put this hanger in his stocking under the xmas tree. Regards Bridget Schultz
I’d love to win this for my hubby – he’s a road cyclist who’s chasing the sub 3 hour Argus dream 🙂 . He missed his goal of a sub 3 by SECONDS for the past five years (minus this year, where the Argus was shortened due to the fires in CT) – fingers crossed for 2016!

Fantastic opportunity. I would love to win this prize for my son, Bradley. He is 9 years old and is excellent in swimming. He started swimming at the age of 4 and has excelled from there. He joined club swimming at the age of 6 and by the age of 8 already qualified and swam at Level 1 in 2015. He has won many medals, which we do not know where to put them. We would love to show case his medals and I’m sure this will make him more determined to excell further when he sees his medals hanging up and become a proud swimmer. His dream is to become like Chad LeClos and Cameron van der Berg and swim for SA at the Olympics. please I would love to make my son so happy and surprise him by hanging his medals up in his room.
Medal Hangers are the best – I LOVE mine. This one would be for my brother-in-law Neil who loves mountain biking. He lives for it. He has a LOT of medals!!! I’m crossing my fingers for him.
My 10 year old daughter would love a medal hanger. She is quite the lover of all kinds of sports and has over 50 medals. Most of these are finisher medals for a variety of 5km fun runs but she more recently has been getting bronze, silver and gold for finishing top 3 in a few running events. She also has medals for dance, soccer (yes, she is one of a few girls playing club soccer and has been playing for 3 years), hockey and biathlon.
Her dad and I are very proud of her accomplishments and would love for her to proudly display them!
To be honest I would like to win this for myself. I have several medals that I have collected over the years from stand up paddling races, golf league, soccer events etc.
I currently haven’t got a place for them and this would be the ideal thing for my room.
I would like to win this for myself. I have been trying the running for a long time but finally joined a running club and partook in their beginners programme. I have now fell in love with running and already have my 4th 10km medal. I want to proudly display my achievements in the hope of encouraging the rest of my sisters to try it.
Would love more than one of these actually! One for my running medals – they’re hanging on clothes hangars at the moment; one for my daughter for her medals (she’s desperate to catch up to my collection) and then of course my brother & sister need one too…
Pamela is my inspiration, our daughters are besties at school and have always been amazed at her ability to run a business, and run a marathon. This would be for me, marathon runner wannabe, having only completed 3 half marathons, plus some other shorter ones. Next is Two Oceans half, whoop whoop. Wouldn’t this be the best birthday present for me?? (Birthday is 12.12)
Oh my thus is great! I would live to win this. I have started training for triathlons in January and also got my first Road bike in January and I have recently cycled the coronation double century and finished together with my team in 8h 30mins. It was the best day of my life! Next up is jailbreak and ironman!!!! This would be the best gift to myself!!!
I want to win this for my hubby who road runs…road cycling. ..mountain biking…you name it he does or try it or did it…. He did had a medal box with a glass cover that he wanted to renovate and he took it to our garage for this HUGE planned renovation….so I returned after VERY much needed retail theraphy because I felt sorry for myself(an over protective mom with kids moving out the house becoming young adults + Changing hormones = heartache and stress) and oeps I did not see it on the floor and drove over the “half renovated” box…….now it is “half demolished” and I feel like a NAARTJIE!! Winning this could score me a lot of points with pappa…….and then my ? will beat “chocolates”…..?
I have drooled over these for so long so I would love to win one. My daughter, miss M plays chess, runs and whatever else strikes her fancy so we also have medals all pver the house. Chess being her main thing at the moment. Mr W started judo and rugby this year and all of a sudden he is giving his sister a run for her money for the most medals won. I get so sad when the medals chip because they are not on a proper hanger cause the kids have worked so hard for them. X

I would love to win a medal hanger for my husband. He is a runner and has completed comrades, marathons, half marathons and many shorter races. He has so many medals and nowhere to keep them. It would be so special to display them on a medal hanger in our apartment.
I would love to win this for a very special friend of mine. Lindsay is so dedicated to running and never gives up despite struggling with so many injuries and set backs. This year April she had a knee injury which stopped her from training properly for comrades but she still lined up on the day and was the last person aloud to complete the race even though the 12hour cut off had passed (I would’ve bailed). This only made her more determined to finish next year in the 12hours.
When her calf started giving problems a week ago she confided that she had considered giving up as it seemed her body wasnt made for running, I promptly told her to stop being silly & get back on track which she has thank goodness.
I just think this will be a wonderful gift for her that will motivate her when she is feeling like she did a few days ago.
Thats my story about a truly inspirational person I believe is deserving of a medal hanger 🙂
Hi. I would love to win one for my husband, Jeffrey. We do 5km walks together. It would be awesome to be able to hang up his medals.
I would love give one to my sister as she inspires me to do triathlons. She pushes through even when she feels hopeless and finishes everytime.
I think my friend Crystle-Lynne deserves one. We do endurance walking, an competition over 75km. When people wants to give up she is the one to motivate them. She is also one of the people that assist by pulling tired or members that is in trouble with a rope. Really a strong women.
Would love this for my son, Kuno, who has soooo many medals from competitive swimming. He will be swimming the English Channel next year in his final school year. It would be awesome to finally give him the opportunity to display his many ‘laps’ – then to add recognition for his ultimate dream swim would be the highlight. What an ingenious product!
I would love to win this for my 9year old. He plays soccer for a club and his amazing in his team and received so much medals over the years also he rides horse and cart at so many shows, in moorreesberg, beaufort west, tulbagh ect under 12 childrens class and his the youngest and always wins, fantastic rider. He have so many medals i do not know where to hang them in his room they al over the show. This would be a perfect gift for him and he will appreciate it so so much
To be honest, I’d want to win it for myself. I don’t have a space to hang my favourite medals so they end up lying in a pencil bag. This would be great to win!
What a FABULOUS way of displaying medals. My hubby plays paintball (at the “ripe old age” of 41). He recently had the opportunity to go to Malaysia with the South African team to play world cup and they came fourth! He also has a few “local” medals but nowhere decent to display them, and a frame is boring and expensive as well as you can’t gauge how big to make it. This is such a cool idea!!!
I would love to win this for my husband,Pieter, he does mountain biking with our 2 sons and always spend a lot of money on their bikes to keep them going. He works very hard, but loves to MTB to unwind and spend some time with the boys. He turned 50 this year, but didn’t want a party….I would love to spoil him with a medal hanger!
I want to win this for my 8 year daughter. I showed her the website a while ago and I promised her I would get one for her. She such an all rounder. She wanted one to keep her medals from Ballet , Violin and the sport events she participates in. She has recently started to take part in running and Cycling races. She has even thought of the design.
