Things to look forward to.

I took Jack for his 18 month injections today (yes I am late) and the kid went mad when he saw the scale (?), eventually I had to get on it with him. Then he screamed when we tried to measure him (?) with a tape measure. So the sister and I were very anxious for the actual injections! Well he did not make a sound or even flinch with either shot! Odd kid!

With all the less than positive thinking going on lately I thought I would share a few things I am looking forward to.

  • Date night on Saturday with David! I can not remember when last we had a totally kid free night together!!
  • The Exclusive Books book sale on Saturday! I have a party in Joburg on Saturday morning so afterwards I am popping in to the sale in Randburg. I am SO excited.
  • Our next scan on Tuesday. I am trying to not to get too hopeful but we “may” be able to see what baby is!
  • It is exactly a month until fly to Cape Town for a week! CAN.NOT.WAIT!
  • Right now I am looking forward to the banana muffins I have in the oven.
  • The warmer weather – isn’t it just lovely! Spring is just around the corner!

What are you looking forward to at the moment?

  1. Right now I am looking forward to getting back into bed with my book! And dinner. Love your list though – we sooooo need a date night in these parts.

  2. Jack is strange but his cuteness makes up for it I think 🙂
Where are you guys going for date night on Saturday?

I’m looking forward to a girls weekend away this weekend. My sister bought it and organised it for my birthday ~ we’re off to a stunning little lodge out by Sun City and its going to include massages, champagne, yummy food and lots of R & R!

  3. My day with my Polly tomorrow
    My warm bed tonight
Not getting up early tomorrow (we don’t have school on a Fri)
    D coming home tom

Hope you get to see what baby is! Sooo exciting!

  4. That clinic visit made me laugh.

I’m looking forward to a weekend with no plans. In my younger days it would’ve been a horror weekend if there were no plans, and now it is the highlight of my month.

  5. I’m looking forward to hopefully sleeping in tomorrow and a braai with good friends who are coming over to see our new house before we do our renovations. Kinda like a “before” party.

  6. Odd about the weighing and the measuring 😛

Love your list. I seriously need a date with my man…seriously!
I am looking forward to having my house to myself and spending some creative time.

  7. Looking forward to a relatively easy weekend and to get my study sorted – it is quite the mess at the moment – photos and albums everywhere. Photo frenzy, I tell you – one week left with The Printer 🙂
