Wacky Wednesday
- I am a little panicky that next week is December. Not really sure why because December is a natural progression from November, which in turn is after October and you get 30 days to prepare for its arrival.
- They have asked me at work to stand in for one of the team leaders in Joburg who will be going on maternity leave next year. I cant say no but I am not jumping for joy about it. She has a team of challenging individuals AND she sits in Braamfontein.
- I am chatting to Gail who runs The CV Writer. She is helping me fix the mistakes in my CV – it appears that that is the reason I have not even made it to the interview stage.
- Everyone at work is VERY tense at the moment. Its been a crap year for us and now we have to report on it and its not fun.
- I had my hair cut yesterday – nothing drastic – in fact its barely noticeable but its always nice to have it done
- Its the 27 Dinner tonight and while I did enjoy the last one I went to and always enjoy spending time with my friends – I am more excited that I get to see Plane Boy.
- We are having our Christmas lunch on Friday. I cant contain my enthusiasm.
- The crazy lady at work has stopped spraying deodorant – thank goodness. She now spends her days staring and editing her contact lists – I kid you not. I know this cos I spend my days watching her because crazy people fascinate me.
- Its Christels Thanksgiving lunch on sunday and we all have to say what we are thankful for – am a little nervous about this. Not because I dont have anything to be thankful for – the opposite is true but while I love public speaking and can handle big crowds – I am really intimidated by this sort of thing. But am actually looking forward to it.
- Last night was a calm night with Kiara. I think it is Cartoon Network that is making her insane. So a few things are changing in our house. Much to Camerons total and utter disgust but when I explained to him the effect it had on his sister, he seemed to be ok. Her moods effect us all so negatively that I think he realised a calm household wins over CN!

I am not good at group sharing me’self… but for somer reason it just WORKS at Thanksgiving. I am always amazed that the most silent of people in the moment comes out and is thankful for the most awesome stuff.

Wow that is really big of Cam to be okay with losing out on CN for his sister – cant say Rafe woudl be so nice about it – if i say to him I dont like XYZ (meaning them watching it) he tells me ‘then dont watch it’ BRAT lol.
Thanksgiving dinner how special – enjoy, you will be fine just think of it as a verbal gratitude blog Ü

Hope you get somewhere with your CV now, maybe I should send her Lance’s to look at!

I thought your CV needed a face lift… it is hard to pace you with your current one. Your skills are not obvious.
We have been TV-less since May and don;t miss it AT ALL. We watch the odd d/led series or movie on the PC and the boys play some PC games and that’s it. Far better I think. Else you end up watching everything!
I have always loved the idea of Thanksgiving Day.
