While I do enjoy working with bigger brands on campaigns and reviews, I really love working with smaller brands who are trying to build their businesses and make their dreams a reality. I met the team behind BluBelle recently and they are trying to do just that, build a dream.
Blu Belle was inspired by two moms on two different continents with a passion to provide trendy and modern, but still very pretty fashion for little ones. We are constantly looking for that something special, different or just very practical.
Blu Belle is a trendy brand for babies and toddlers with a variety of fashionable clothing, shoes and accessories. We focus our energy on excellent quality products and materials that are individually sourced for our unique brand. We have a team dedicated to designing, manufacturing and sourcing local and international items. Made in South Africa, inspired by the World!
They have put together a stunning range of clothes for babies and toddlers. Seriously you NEED to check out their baby stuff, they have the most gorgeous rompers (and they are currently on sale). Emma received an outfit to try out and she was so excited when it arrived, she put it on immediately and actually ended up sleeping in it.
I really loved their little dresses but Emma doesn’t wear dresses, so we went for these funky leggings and this cute cloud top (which I wouldn’t actually mind in an adult size) and she got two pairs of their jelly shoes which she does not ever take off.
The clothes are a really good quality, the leggings were super soft which you know is a big deal for my kids. Most of the clothes are locally made in Joburg and designed by Carien and her sister. I love the small things like the two pink and purple tassles on the leggings. Also if you have a taller toddler then these are ideal. They fitted Emma perfectly but they did sit quite high in her waist, so they would be perfect for taller little ones.
I saw some of their new range items and they are absolutely gorgeous. I love that they are so funky and they use some really stunning prints, which both my girls are drawn too.
They also have a selection of the cutest jelly shoes. Emma absolutely loves them. She alternates between these Mickey Mouse ones and the pink one above. They are so easy to put on (which is a big win for me) and she keeps them on the entire day, so they are clearly comfortable.
Head over to their store and have a look around, they have a whole range of items for little ones and if you don’t have a little one anymore then there are some lovely baby shower items for moms to be. They do also have a very cool boys range.
You can find them on Facebook and at their website. Remember guys, supporting local means you are supporting someones dream and hard work.
