I know we are all in holiday mode but I also know that many of us are in the middle of buying stationery packs, getting our little ones ready for the new school year. Jack is going to Grade 1 next year, so it’s a big year for us. It also means I need to figure out what to pack in lunch boxes (again). I would pay good money for our schools to have cafeterias or at the very least tuck shops that don’t only sell junk food.
These granola bars sound like they may work as lunch box fillers. I think Kiara may even like them. I may even get Cameron to eat them, I may have to dip them in mountains of chocolate.

Have you made granola bars before? Did your kids like them? (Please say yes!)

Oooh! These sound delicious!
Megan has recently taken to cooking and baking, and I’m sure she’d love to try this recipe out. I, of course, am only too happy to let her, since it means I can get other things done while she sorts out lunchbox stuff…
Its awesome when they can start doing things themselves isn’t it.
I have been wanting to make some granola bars myself. I don’t think my kids would like these, but I would LOVE them. I love cranberries, and this is the perfect time of year to try making them.
Yes the cranberries make it perfect for Christmas
I’ve never made granola bars before but this might be the recipe that gets me to do it. I’ve really been digging coconut lately so this is perfect and sounds oh so yummy!

Oh man I LOVE coconut. Fresh coconut is so yummy!
I have never tried to make granola bars before! These sound so good and nice to have on hand for a snack!
Kids are ALWAYS hungry! So I am thinking this is a great idea to have on hand for them
Nope, haven’t been brave enough to try making granola bars yet but they’ve been on my list for awhile lol. This recipe looks great so no excuses now 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
Yeah I have also not been brave enough to make them yet but these sound really nice
Sounds wonderful I need to break down the recipe to tablespoons. I think I will add this to my list of things to cook in 2018
These sound great! I must say we are lucky enough that we can pay a little extra school fees and cooked lunch and snacks are provided for the kids, but I guess it is because the school tuck shop provides this service.
They even sell coffee for those early mornings on the sports field. (for parents)
That cookie mix is also great for a quick cookie baking activity with your littlee.
