I love my bed. There is nothing better than getting into your own bed at the end of the day. It doesn’t matter how horrible your day was, when you feel those sheets, it all goes away. You are reminder that the sun will set and tomorrow is a new day. It doesn’t happen very often so when there are weekends that we have no plans, it is such a treat to be able to just lie in and do nothing.
When David and I moved in together we had an interesting collection of duvets. I had a collection of pink and purple sets from my single mom days and he had a collection blues, blacks and a few others in between from his bachelor days. We have, over the years, bought a few new sets but they have all been motivated mainly by practicality or whatever was on special.
When this Sixth Floor Anglaise set arrived last week, it was a little piece of luxury that had arrived in a world of chaos. I am not sure who was more excited Jane or I (or possibly Lucy, the dog). It is absolutely gorgeous. So elegant and pretty. It made me feel so grown up until it was bedtime and Emma threw the pillow off so she could sleep on her own pillow.
Last week was one of those weeks. By Friday I felt total overwhelmed and was completely drained. I took a 5 minute time out to take this picture but really would have loved to have taken the afternoon off and just stayed in bed.
I have also spent too much time browsing through the Sixth Floor brand page on Superbalist.
This reversible set is absolutely stunning, these are two of my favourite colours.
And these pillow cases, I have started saving already.
Sixth Floor don’t only do linen though, they have a range of household accessories and furniture.
They have a few of these sets of tiles, I feel like I could redo all our bathrooms and our kitchen with these sets.
And this poster? This is ME! Good sneakers, good coffee, it is that simple.
Also who doesn’t need a Hakuna Matata Mug right?
These bowls describe my life perfectly!
Ok let me stop now before I just share their entire range. Head over to Superbalist and check it out for yourself and tell me which of their products you like the most, I am pretty sure you won’t be able to decide either.
Disclaimer: I was sent the Anglaise Duvet set and a voucher in exchange for this post.
