Kiara’s Christmas Picks

Kiara is probably the easiest person to buy for. She also has the longest list but a lot of it are small things. She has always been the easiest to buy for and in general she is the most grateful for what she gets, even if isn’t exactly what she asked for.

So what does my 13 year old want?

Stationery: I could buy Kiara a whole lot of pretty pens, pencils and markers and she would be more than happy. We recently received a set of Sharpies and these stunning pastel highlighters and markers. If she wasn’t here when I opened the parcel, I could have given them to her for Christmas ๐Ÿ™‚

Paints: I bought her a variety of paints for her birthday and she loved them so paints are always on her list. All kinds of paint because she paints pretty much anything from her bedroom wall to glass bottles.

Canvasses: While she is happy to paint anything, she loves painting on canvasses. I wish these weren’t so expensive, especially the larger ones because we could have walls covered in art work by now if she had more canvasses!

Dance clothes: She is always looking for clothes she can dance in, tights and nice active wear tops. We struggle a little to find nice stuff that she is happy with so when we do we buy in all different colors. She would love EVERYTHING about this outfit!

This year I gave the Teen the login details for takealot and told him to add what he wants to the wishlist. From there I just decided according to the budget what he gets.

You can never go wrong with stationary especially for kids, since one can never have enough of them! My daughter is always doodling, drawing and writing, so we always ran out of stationary no matter how much I buy them.

I am a big fan of stationery items and I think it rubbed off on my daughter too. She isn’t a teen but she loves her colors, paints and paper. She could spend her entire day with it.

That’s a lovely list, I’d also be happy with drawing things!
My son is so difficult to buy for…he’s 8 now and said he is asking Santa for
    1 – a SNAKE (big no)
2 – a LAPTOP (mmmmmm big hell no)

So yeah…I have had to make up lots of reasons why Santa can’t give him those gifts ๐Ÿ˜‰

I remember the days in high school where we wrote all over our notebooks with colored pens. the good ole days. I have boys but they keep it simple. Im glad.

These are all great choices for teens! I feel like I would have loved those gifts at that age too (actually I’d love them now as well).
