We recently got sent a PSVita and a copy of the new LittleBigPlanet Marvel Superheroes Edition for us to review. Cameron was very excited because the arrival of the PS Vita coincided with our holiday, so he was able to spend time playing it without having to worry about homework, training or general life.
Cameron felt a little too old for the game but he still enjoyed playing it non-the-less. He enjoyed the fact that you were able to create your own world and characters. You could use the unique touch and camera to create your own world. Players are also able to make use of the unique games that other users have created and uploaded online. There are loads of levels, which for Cameron is a big thing because we have bought so many games that he finishes in a few hours. The graphics were really awesome and he was easily able to understand the controls and the story line.
Super Heroes are huge in our house and this game stars all the heroes, Hulk, Thor and Iron Man and you can suit up in more than 18 Marvel costumes, including Captain America and Hawkeye. Jack loved watching Cameron play with these characters.
His only criticism of the game was that the characters heads kept leaning to one side.
He really loved the PSVita, it was easy to use, sleek and had a really great battery, he played most of the drive home from Cape Town.
Overall the consol and the game were a huge hit and if you have young kids that are into gaming then I highly recommend you put both on your Christmas list.
