My top pregnancy tips AND WIN

February is Pregnancy Education month. Sometimes I feel like the pregnancy grinch because I really never enjoyed it. I tried 4 times and honestly it never got better. It felt like an out of body experience the entire 9 months. That aside though I am grateful that I had 4 easy pregnancies without complications and 4 easy births. I do sometimes take this for granted.

The average woman has 17 square feet of skin when she is not pregnant. This stretches to an unbelievable 18.5 square feet by the ninth month of pregnancy.

By the time I was pregnant with Emma I think I had resigned myself to the bloating, heartburn, back ache and crazy emotions but I had also figured out some tricks to make it a little easier.

You have to keep active! I did yoga with Jack and Emma and it really did make a difference. You can do a lot of exercises right up until the last trimester so find something to do and keep active.

Plain salted chips help for morning sickness. It is a fact, I proved it!

Aside from normal mood swings, everyone expects pregnant women to be happy. But that’s not always the case. Psychiatrists estimate that around 20 percent of pregnant women experience anxiety or depression.

Don’t waste money on expensive maternity clothes. Get some leggings and a pair of jeans with elastic at the top. Paired with some pretty shirts this can look smart and will always be comfortable.

Just chill. Don’t over do things, take it easy and listen to your body.
