I am going to turn 40 in exactly one week! I am super excited, not only because I love birthdays but because I think 40 is the BEST birthday. I now officially old enough to not give a toss about anyone or anything. I have done enough living to have learnt I don’t need anyone’s approval. I have cleaned up enough pooped and vomit to not let much frighten me and I have gained and lost enough friends to know I have my very own tribe.
To celebrate this significant age I have a photo shoot to giveaway but this is not just a photo shoot. Angelica from Picture This Photography has given me a Signature Collection Boudoir Shoot to giveaway to one lucky winner.
This will include:
- A 2.5 hour boudoir photo shoot + a milk bath photo shoot
- 60 images on a disc
- professional make-up
- 1 x bespoke photo book
Doesn’t this sound absolutely indulgent? I did a boudoir shoot just before David and I got married. It can be an incredibly liberating thing to do and I encourage everyone to do one.

I have two things that I wear that makes my feel sexy… tangerine lipstick and heels. This would be such an amazing prize to win! I could really do with something like this to feel like a woman again. Just had my 2nd miscarriage since December 2017.
The one thing that makes me feel really sexy is my knee high skin tight black boots. There is nothing provocative about it, but just the feel of zipping it up my calf and walking with that little click clack of my heels, makes me feel sooooooooo confident.
Sexy lingerie without a doubt. I only wear sets of sexy lingerie. I dont wear mismatched undies. It makes me feel super sexy and confidant mommy bump, stretch marks and all.

I recently joined Pole dancing and have been introduced to Pleaser heels. They make feel absolutely sexy and in charge of my sexuality. I’m all of sudden very comfortable in my own skin, and love every flaw in this body.

I have a the biggest, thunderous thighs anyone has ever seen with the most cellulite ever but honestly when I rock a miniskirt accompanied with red heels you cannot touch me. I take sexy to a whole new level and I don’t mean to brag.
I totally agree that your 40th birthday is the best one. Since turning 40 myself last year, I have learnt to love the skin I am in and I honestly feel the sexiest wearing absolutely nothing. Just embracing every inch of me and accepting myself and my body flaws and all
All I need is a dash of Clinique Happy – always saved for special dates and never bought any for myself. It’s my husband’s spoil. Funny how a certain fragrance can do all the work 🙂
I think that once I became a mom, the word sexy was definitely not in my vocabulary for a long time. For a long time I had to get use to my “new” body. It too a very long time to remind myself that I am sexy in the skin I have, and my hubby reminded me of that so often. I recently phone a lippie from Almay; and when I put that on, I am unstoppable! Sexy personified!
For me it would be eyeliner. I feel like boring old ‘stay at home mum’ Me without it but as soon as I put some on it makes me feel more confident immediately. It doesn’t really matter what I’m wearing, if I think I look good then I feel good which in turn then makes me look good ? It’s a positivity circle.

After breastfeeding twins, there is not much left of me?, so a good padded push-up bra definitely does wonders for the self-esteem.
